LUGGAGE

1 medium duffel bag or backpack.

(All gear should fit into bag with the exception of outdoor recreation equipment.)

Day-pack with a water bladder.

 

CLOTHING

Weather in Montana can change fast and be highly unpredictable.

Temperatures can range from 90°F during the day to 32°F at night in the summer, so pack accordingly.

You're going to get dirty so no designer clothing. 

 

Pants: 2-3 long pairs of jeans or hiking pants

Shirts: 3 T-shirts, 2 long-sleeve shirts, 1 hoodie

Socks: Merino wool preferred

Long underwear: 1 pair

Gloves

Hats: 1 with a brim for sun protection and 1 beanie for warmth

Coat: Fleece, vest, and/or windbreaker

Rain gear: Pants and coat (could double as a windbreaker) 

Footwear:  Camp shoes (closed-toed) 

Camp wear – Comfortable leisure clothes

Towel and washcloth

Shampoo and conditioner

Biodegradable soap

Shaving Tools

Reusable water bottle

Sunglasses
