✔ Respect fire, heat, and timing
✔ Act responsibly around others and animals

This is a team environment, not a free-for-all.

🔥 COMMON RISKS (BE AWARE)

You may be exposed to:

Burns from hot cast iron, coals, or open flame

Cuts, slips, or falls on uneven ground

Smoke exposure and outdoor elements

Weather changes (heat, cold, wind, rain)

Animal-related risks (livestock, working dogs)

Physical strain from lifting or standing

👉 These are normal parts of this type of training.

Step 1: Listen first, act second
Do not rush into anything

Step 2: Respect heat and distance
Cast iron stays hot longer than you think

Step 3: Wear proper clothing
Closed-toe shoes, durable layers

Step 4: Stay focused
Distractions lead to accidents

Step 5: Ask questions
If you’re unsure, speak up immediately

By attending any Dutch Oven Outfitters class, you understand and agree:

✔ You are voluntarily participating in outdoor, fire-based cooking activities
✔ You accept all risks associated with these activities
✔ You are responsible for your own actions and safety

👉 Sheila Dwyer, Jon Kelly, and Annette Wiler, along with Dutch Oven Outfitters, are not responsible for:

Injuries

Accidents

Loss or damage to personal property

Negligence or misuse of equipment by participants

Participation means you accept full responsibility.

👉 You may be removed from the class immediately
👉 No refunds will be issued
