TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern participation in all classes, activities, lodging, and services provided by Dutch Oven Outfitters. By participating, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Assumption of Risk
Participation in Dutch Oven Outfitters activities involves inherent risks including but not limited to burns, cuts, falls, injuries from tools, open flames, hot surfaces, uneven terrain, weather conditions, and wildlife encounters. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks.
2. Release of Liability
Participants agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Sheila Dwyer, Jon Kelly, Annette Wilder, and Dutch Oven Outfitters from any and all liability, claims, damages, or injuries arising from participation in any class, activity, or stay.
3. Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own safety and must follow all instructions. Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
4. Medical Responsibility
Participants confirm they are physically able to participate and are responsible for their own medical conditions, medications, and care.
5. Educational Purpose Only
All classes and instruction are provided for educational purposes only. Participants assume full responsibility for how they apply any skills learned.
6. Third-Party Recommendations
Dutch Oven Outfitters and its representatives may recommend vendors, services, or products. These are suggestions only. We are not responsible for the performance, safety, or actions of any third-party provider.
7. Property and Environment
Activities take place on private property in a rural environment. Participants accept conditions including uneven ground, animals, fire, and outdoor exposure.
8. Personal Property
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Dutch Oven Outfitters is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
9. Lodging Disclaimer
On-site lodging is provided as a convenience. Participants assume all risks associated with staying on the property.
10. Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sheila Dwyer, Jon Kelly, Annette Wilder, and Dutch Oven Outfitters from any claims arising from participation.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Montana.
12. Agreement Acknowledgment
By participating in any activity or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all classes, lodging, and services offered by Dutch Oven Outfitters. Due to the extensive preparation, limited availability, and resources required to operate each class, this policy is strictly enforced.
1. Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable. A deposit secures your spot in the class and covers upfront planning, preparation, and reserved resources.
2. Full Payment
Full payment deadlines must be met as outlined at the time of booking. Failure to complete payment may result in forfeiture of your reservation and deposit.
3. Cancellations by Participant
If you cancel for any reason, the following applies:
• 60+ days before class: Payments (excluding deposit) may be applied as a credit toward a future class within 12 months.
• 30–59 days before class: 50% of total payment (excluding deposit) may be issued as credit only.
• Less than 30 days: No refunds or credits will be issued.
• No-shows: No refunds, credits, or transfers.
4. Transfers
Transfers to another person are allowed only with prior written approval and must be completed at least 14 days before the class start date.
5. Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests are not guaranteed and are treated as cancellations under this policy.
6. Lodging
All lodging reservations (cabins, rooms, wall tents) follow the same cancellation terms. Once booked, lodging is non-refundable within 30 days.
7. Cancellations by Dutch Oven Outfitters
If a class is canceled by Dutch Oven Outfitters due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a reschedule or credit. Refunds are issued at the sole discretion of Dutch Oven Outfitters.
8. Travel Expenses
Dutch Oven Outfitters is not responsible for any travel expenses including flights, fuel, lodging outside the property, or other related costs.
9. Weather & Outdoor Conditions
Classes are held in outdoor environments and will proceed in most weather conditions. Weather-related discomfort is not grounds for cancellation or refund.
10. Agreement
By booking a class, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation and Refund Policy in full.
